God Mina, this might be my favorite thing you've ever written. Concentrated, contrasting, perfect emotion here. Highs and lows right alongside each other, and one of the best opening paragraphs I've ever seen.

The prose is also stunning. Deeply poetic, powerful word choice, and lines that don't hold back. This is just pure, perfect writing from top to bottom.

It reminds me that sometimes paradise is just the place where we feel like we can finally breathe.

🥹🥹 oh my gosh! Thank you so much, this is seriously one of the best comments that I've ever gotten!

This piece felt very heavy to write, but absolutely needed - it was cathartic in a way.

I get that. And I know it's hard to write and publish stuff like this because it (understandably) can make people worry that you're not okay.

But I'd wager that none of us are "okay."

So, sometimes you've gotta write about things like this. If it helps, that's all that matters. I truly loved this one.

Yeah, I try not to do it often but this one was so loud that I had to 😅

I'm so glad you loved it! Thank you for checking it out!

The red hot sting of slaps and punches almost fades among the cool night air.....yep this is definitely cozy 💝🙌💝

A daughter of death. That phrase really sets off the haunting suicide, and the wistfulness of the speaker, the daughter, of the beauty of the afterlife she sees and experiences. A daughter of death. Yes.

"This week we're getting cozy!" Proceeds to write about a character jumping off a bridge XD

I guess bonus points for subverting your own prompt?

😂😂 cozy wouldn't come, but that afterlife is cozy compared to what she's known! 🤷
